About Us

Gina’s Bake Shop is owned and operated by Gina Dean-Bey of Fort Pierce, Florida. Besides owning and operating Gina’s Bake Shop, she has a thriving Dental practice. Twelve years ago her daughter was participating in a fund raising scholarship program. To help raise funds for that event, Gina baked cakes, cookies and brownies and sold them at her husband, Darryl Bey’s Jazz Series concerts, where they were a huge hit.

They were such a huge success some of the customers begged Gina to sell them at the local Green Market or Farmers Market, since then she has been baking for several years. Gina’s Bake Shop evolved from seven different cakes and six different cookies to offering pastries such as Rugelach, Scones, Biscotti, Sticky Buns and Coconut Macaroons. A local Gourmet Pet Store owner approached her about baking homemade treats for cats and dogs. They were such a success that Gina added them to Gina’s Bake Shop, Inc. as Natural Gourmet Treats for Pets. Her specialty drink Jamaican Ginger Iced Tea, ™ has been an additional item of success; it is a spicy refreshing beverage that is made from fresh ginger root which has customers returning for more. This beverage is currently being featured in a local Fine Wine Specialty store in Fort Pierce, Florida and soon to be in other fine gourmet specialty stores.
